About John Teevan:

John grew up in Chicago and studied economics at Princeton when Keynesianism was in its prime. He was soon employed at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. That fall he started seminary with the belief that spiritual solutions would permeate the world’s people long before political or economic solutions would favorably change its systems.

Teevan took the lead in extending Grace College education to 350 maximum security inmates in Indiana prisons. He served as executive director of Grace College’s Weber School (Detroit, Indy, Columbus) and of Indiana Correctional Education. After a brief time as Interim President of Grace College & Seminary and a deanship, he now teaches at Grace College.
